To provide a continuous and effective link between the municipality and residents, since 19 November 2002 the Riga City Council City Development Department free hotline 80005599 has been operating an automatic answering machine.

By calling to this number at any time round the clock you can express your proposals and initiatives on the capital city development and improvement issues, on improvement of the City Development Department and the Riga City Construction Board work in rendering services to the residents, as well as your complaints and comments on the culture and quality of services rendered to the Department visitors.

All calls will be registered and the received information will be daily summarised and submitted for evaluation and practical actions of the corresponding structural units of the Department and the Construction Board. In the event the information or the question provided by you exceeds competency of the Department, it will be resent to the corresponding state or municipal institution. If you leave your contacts, you will receive a reply to the specific questions by phone or, in complicated cases, also in writing.
